AM has an immediate opening for a full-time School Testing Coordinator/Support Liaison to support school-based COVID-19 response efforts. Candidates must be available to be on-site in Wayne County, NY.


  • Work with each public, private and parochial school district in Wayne County for the 2021-2022 school year for all-voluntary COVID 19 school testing.
  • Establish relationships with each school district's internal COVID Mitigation Specialist and or current identified school staff member.
  • Provide technical assistance in the development and implementation of each school district’s voluntary screening procedures and testing plans
  • Act as a liaison between each school and Wayne County Public Health (WCPH) for the ELC School Reopening – testing project for the 2021-2022 school year
  • Assist schools with questions and provide technical training regarding various COVID testing as needed
  • Provide assistance with arranging testing for both individual and or pooled with the assigned laboratory testing service
  • Assist Wayne County Public Health (WCPH) with entry of test results into the Electronic Clinical Laboratory Report System (ECLRS)
  • Assist schools clerically for large testing events due to outbreaks or as deemed necessary
  • Identify Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and testing equipment needs for the schools and order as needed thru WCPH.
  • Attend all Incident Command Team meeting scheduled by WCPH or other meeting deem necessary by WCPH
  • Complete any reports associated with the ELC School Reopening- Testing funding.


Educational and Professional Requirements: 


  • Knowledge of the inner-workings of school systems/districts operations
  • Minimum Education- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, school administration, public administration or another field relevant to the scope of work outlined in the Scope of Services
  • Master’s Degree preferred
  • Knowledge of COVID-19 testing procedures and reporting requirements
  • Knowledge of the ELC School reopening program and reporting requirements

Technology Requirements:


  • Proficiency in using Google Suite
  • Mac with Mac OS 10.15 or newer
  • Antivirus Protection: Windows Defender and Windows Firewall, for Mac Antivirus Protection: Sophos
  • User provided home high-speed network connection 
  • Ability to assure and manage virtual meeting options for participants
